Media Release: North Star Cruises announces a new aircraft for their Papua New Guinea adventure cruises
North Star Cruises has announced that a new aircraft will deliver guests to the True North in Papua New Guinea.
The company’s Dash 8 charter aircraft will be replaced with a Convair 580.
The Convair is a pressurized executive turbo prop with classic business class seating for up to 43 passengers. With a cruise speed of 280kts and a range of approximately 2870 km the Convair 580 will provide fast direct travel to Alotau and Kavieng. The full stand-up cabin, oversized restroom and spacious seating will also offer a level of comfort greatly superior to the Dash 8.
