Where is Eagle Falls?

Eagle Falls is located in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia, along the Drysdale River. Hidden deep within rugged sandstone country, it remains one of the most isolated waterfalls in the region.

Situated approximately 7.5 kilometres inland from the coast, its exact coordinates are 14°21’16.2″S 126°09’22.7″E.

How to get to Eagle Falls

By air

March – April: Peak waterfall season

May – September: Dry season

As the Kimberley transitions into the dry season, the weather stabilises with clear skies, lower humidity, and warm days. The falls still flow, but the waters are calmer, and the surrounding terrain becomes drier, making for easier exploration.
