About the Rowley Shoals

The Rowley Shoals are a marine sanctuary located 260km from Broome (an overnight steam), and are made up of 3 huge coral atolls, on the edge of one of the widest continental shelves in the world. Enjoy crystalline waters and tropical sea temps of up to 30 degrees, plus a thriving ecosystem and myriad of marine life. The atolls are the remains of three volcanoes that rise 300+ metres from the ocean’s floor, each covering approximately 80-90 square kilometres within the rim of the reef and harbouring shallow, coral-filled lagoons.
