Includes some or all of the following highlights:

Horizontal Falls

Located deep within Talbot Bay in the Buccaneer Archipelago are the Horizontal Waterfalls. Massive tidal movements create a waterfall effect as water banks up against one side of the narrow cliff passage, to be repeated again on the turning tide. The waterfall phenomena has been described by David Attenborough as “one of the greatest natural wonders of the world”.

Crocodile Creek

Crocodile Creek is an attraction visited by cruise boats exploring the Kimberley Region. The Creek has a fresh water pool with scenic falls flowing down from above. Climb up the embankment and take in the beautiful view, or enjoy a refreshing dip in one of the the beautiful waterholes.
Raft Point

Climb up to a saddle of rock that forms nothing short of a spectacular outdoor Aboriginal art gallery. The art is an account of the mythical Wandjina clan on the ‘Great Fish Chase’. There are images of the Wandjina spirits with their distinctive haloes and dugong, crocodiles, fish and snakes.
From here, there is a glorious view over the neighbouring Steep Island.

Ruby Falls

Ruby Falls were only recently discovered and named after the daughter of its founder. Enjoy a rejuvenating cool off under the waterfall at this isolated and scenic location.
Montgomery Reef

As the tide drops, a raging torrent of water, cascading off the top of this 400ha reef, erupts as miles of surrounding reef appears to slowly rise out of the ocean. It’s the perfect spot to watch cormorants, egrets and sandpipers forage for sea life trapped on the surface of the reef. Below the waterline opportunistic sea turtles, reef sharks and many larger fish also take advantage of this feast.
Camden Harbour

Visit Camden Harbour, scene of a 19th-century sheep farming fiasco by early European settlers. In this rugged setting and harsh climate, the settlement failed miserably and was abandoned after less than two years.
Sheep Island

King Cascade waterfalls in the Prince Regent River

Explore the Prince Regent River before heading to King Cascade to anchor. This is a tranquil, scenic spot with a beautiful swimming hole at the top.
